PROJECT 3/50  SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL YARN SHOP

What does it mean?  3/50 project is a campaign to support local merchants.  The concept has spread to communities nationwide and it's premise is simple.

First choose 3 local independent brick and mortor businesses that you would like to support.  Then spend $50.00 or more among those businesses each month (that's less than $20.00 each).  If enough people in town make a pledge, the theory goes, the pooled together funds will prop up mom-and-pop enterprises and help sustain local business districts.
